Summary: In a battle against the forces of the mysterious organization calling themselves “The Light”, Nightwing finds himself transported to another realm via one of the chaotic spells of Klarion the Witch Boy. It’s a world both different and familiar. It’s a world of elemental benders, led by a young spiritual leader they call the Avatar. (Takes place after the end of season 1 of Avatar: TLoK and after the episode “Depths” of Young Justice)
Author’s Notes: This is a story that started on a whim, inspired by a collection of images posted recently on Tumblr where animated images of Nightwing (Young Justice) and Asami Sato (Avatar: The Legend of Korra) were Photoshopped together. I originally wrote a short drabble starring the two of them and their first meeting. The idea of the pairing and the crossover potential lingers, though. So I’ve re-written the drabble into the first chapter, and we’ll see where it goes from here.

Then they blacked out, and when they woke up they were still in Wayne Tower, but the entire city had gone to hell from what appeared to some sort of alien/monster/demonic invasion. Their first goal, upon waking up in this nightmare world, was to head to the Cave for safety, supplies, and hopefully family with some explanation for what was going on.
